Privacy Policy

LeadBridge ("LeadBridge", "we", "us") provides an AI chatbot that businesses add to their websites to answer questions, capture leads and book appointments (the "Service"). This policy explains what personal data we handle, why, and the choices you have. It applies to our customers (the businesses that create an account) and to the visitors who chat with a chatbot powered by LeadBridge.
1. Our role
For your LeadBridge account, billing and our own website, we decide how your data is used (we are the "controller").
For the conversations, leads and appointments of a business's website visitors, that business decides how the data is used and LeadBridge processes it on its behalf (we act as its "processor" or "service provider"). If you chatted with a business's chatbot, please contact that business first; we will help them answer your request.
2. Data we collect
- Account data: name, e-mail, business name, phone number, password (stored only as a secure hash) or your Google sign-in identifier.
- Billing data: plan, amounts, payment status and dates. Card details are entered and processed by Mercado Pago; we never see or store full card numbers.
- Business content: your website address and the public content our system reads from it, your services, prices, opening hours and chatbot settings.
- Visitor conversations: the messages visitors send and the details they choose to share, such as name, phone, e-mail, service address, vehicle details and the appointment they book.
- Technical data: the website where the chat was opened, browser type, approximate times of use, and an identifier stored in the visitor's browser so the conversation can continue after a page reload.
3. How we use data
- To provide the Service: generate the chatbot's replies, offer available time slots, create appointments and show them in the business's dashboard.
- To send service e-mails: booking confirmations to the business and to the visitor, payment receipts and important account notices.
- To process payments, prevent fraud and keep the Service secure.
- To provide support and improve the reliability and quality of the Service.
- To comply with legal obligations, such as keeping billing records.
We do not sell personal data, we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not use visitor conversations to advertise to them.
4. Artificial intelligence
Replies are generated by AI models from Anthropic (Claude) and Google (Gemini), which process the conversation and the business information needed to answer, on our behalf and under their API terms. AI answers can contain mistakes: businesses control the information their chatbot uses and can review every conversation.
5. Service providers
We share data only with providers that help us run the Service, under contracts or terms that require them to protect it:
- Cloud hosting for our servers and database.
- Anthropic and Google, for AI replies; Google, for "Continue with Google" sign-in.
- Brevo, for transactional e-mails.
- Mercado Pago, for payments and subscriptions.
We may also disclose data when required by law, to protect our rights or users' safety, or as part of a merger or acquisition, with notice where required.
7. Retention
We keep account and business data while the account is active. Conversations, leads and appointments are kept while the business's account is active or until the business deletes them. After an account is closed we delete or anonymize its data within 90 days, except records we must keep by law (for example, billing records).
8. Security
We protect data with encrypted connections (HTTPS), hashed passwords, access controls and separation of each business's data. No system is completely secure; if a breach affects your data, we will notify you as required by law.
9. International transfers
Our providers may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States. We use providers that offer appropriate safeguards for these transfers.
10. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you can ask to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal data, and object to or limit its use. Residents of Peru can exercise their ARCO rights under Law No. 29733. California residents have the rights to know, delete and correct their personal information and to not be discriminated against for using these rights; we do not sell or share personal information.
To exercise a right, write to us through the chat on our website or from your dashboard. We will answer within the time the law requires and may ask you to verify your identity. Business customers can also edit or delete their data and conversations from the dashboard.
11. Children
The Service is meant for businesses and is not directed to children under 13. Accounts are for people 18 or older. If you believe a child sent us personal data, write to us through the chat on our website or from your dashboard and we will delete it.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. If the changes are significant, we will notify customers by e-mail or in the dashboard before they take effect. The date at the top shows the latest version.
13. Contact
For any question about this policy or your data, write to us through the chat on our website or from your dashboard.
